Open data
We plan to publish non-personal data and our method so others can reuse it, check it and build on it. Nothing is downloadable yet; this page shows what is coming.
Planned datasets
Status: planned. There are no downloads or API yet. Want to be told when the first dataset is out? Let us know.

Match outcomes
Anonymised lessons from proposed coalitions, once there are enough to share responsibly.
The complementarity and synergy method
We look for coalitions whose members complement each other, not organisations that are all alike. Each proposed match gets a score out of 100. A score of 70 or more is a strong match; 50 to 69 is worth a conversation.
| Criterion | Points | Data used |
|---|---|---|
| Theme | 20 | Aspiration and commitment themes |
| Role | 25 | Complementary roles score higher: doer, funder, knowledge holder and user |
| Time | 10 | Aspiration, commitment and investment horizons |
| Geography | 15 | Location, climate zone, shared resilience exposure |
| Scale | 10 | Aspiration scale, ticket size band, actor size |
| Public-private mix | 10 | A mix of public, private, nonprofit and investor partners |
| Synergy | 10 | Scored by a person: offers meet needs, a stop frees resources for a start, idle property meets a need, innovation stage meets investment |
| Red flags | −10 each, up to −30 | For example conflicting interests or an outdated source |

Reuse
When datasets are published, each will state its licence, source and date. We expect to use an open licence that allows reuse with attribution; the exact licence will be stated per dataset. Entries sourced from third-party datasets, such as SBTi, keep their original licence and are not redistributed; we link to the source instead.
Researchers, nonprofits and practitioners who want to reuse or cite the method now can contact us.
